This month two of our young men have decided to put their best foot forward – literally!
Ellis Hanna and John Hyndman and their friend Ross Carson ( known to some of us from his
involvement with Trinity Sports Connect) have picked a challenge for charity that may be an bit of an
uphill struggle – or several uphills!!
On the 11th June , Ellis, Ross and John are going to strap on walking boots and take to the West
Highland Way. This is a 154Km (96mile) trek through Scottish Mountains, Countryside and Lough
areas. It is usually completed in 7/8 days but since this is a charity walk they decided to attempt to
complete it out in 4!
Each has chosen a different (very worthwhile) Charity to support. Ellis is raising funds for Salt Factory
Sports, a ministry of Sports Coaching reaching out with the Good News. Ellis is serving this year again
on a Salt Factory Team. John is raising money for Christian Unions Ireland which aims to see
Students in Universities across Ireland transformed by encountering Jesus. CU has been an influence
in changing countless hearts, including John’s. Any donation would be appreciated.
