Trinity YF – where the young people have fellowship.

‘And all who believed were together and had all things in common.’
Acts 2:44 (ESV)

September saw the launch of ‘Sunday Evening’s @ Trinity’. A new term, a new format and with that a new Youth Fellowship. Every second and fourth Sunday in the month at 6:30pm in the church for the evening service, then straight over to the hall for Trinity YF at 7:15.
Sunday nights are all about fellowship as a church family. Acts 2:42-47 describes the Early Church’s depiction of what it means to have fellowship. The Early Church were united, not just as friends or as acquaintances, not just as people who enjoyed the same things, but united in their utter devotion to Jesus Christ. The fellowship that they shared together, was unlike anything of this world. Their dedication to their Saviour brought a commonality between them, that inspired generosity and signs of wonder. The vision for Sunday nights and YF is to catch a glimpse of what this Acts 2 fellowship must’ve looked like.

So, what does our evening service look like? Every Sunday we meet at 6:30 in the church. In the 1st and 3rd weeks of the month, the elders will lead our service in a variety of formats. In the 2nd and 4th weeks of the month, we will have a special guest speaker share with us from the Bible.
So, what does Trinity YF look like? Each night at YF we have a special guest speaker. They share from God’s Word at our service and then they join us to face the pressure of the hotseat at YF. The young people and leaders get the chance to ask our guest lots of questions about their life, faith, and everything in between. Each night also includes a game, prayer and ALWAYS an assortment of snacks!

Coming up, we have a variety of speakers:
22nd October – Andrew McCartney
12th November – Nathanael Barr
26th November – Jack Coffey feat. Glorify (Praise Band)

The 26th of November will be a special praise night with a guest band coming to lead us in worship. You don’t want to miss out!

As this new venture has begun, we have witnessed God’s hand at work in all the details. It is so exciting to see how a group of young people can be built up in God’s Word. To those that are supporting this ministry through prayer and service, we really appreciate all that you do.

If you are a young person thinking about coming to Trinity YF, we would love to have you along. Gather up your friends and join us on a Sunday evening. Trinity YF – the brand new, really exciting place where God works amongst young people as they fellowship together.
