New Term, New Study for Fellowship Groups
The vision for fellowship groups in our Church family is to build upon our primary purpose to Know God, Follow Jesus and Live by His Spirit (More details click here)
We do this by glorifying God and as a Church family, growing and strengthening each other through Bible study, prayer and fellowship.
We have been running Fellowship Groups in Trinity since 2018 and they have taken many different forms (in-person and online), in numerous locations (homes/church hall/coffee shops) using a variety of formats (courses/book study/bible study) reaching many in our congregation and bringing much blessing over the years.
This time round we want to broaden the reach further and enable a wider grouping to get involved either individually, two’s/threes or a larger organised fellowship group meeting regularly to study Gods word together and encourage one another.
For this upcoming session we are using the book Welcome by Jen Oshman to frame our times together as we consider how we are to be a welcoming church family.
“Because God has welcomed us with a warm embrace, we are called to offer that same welcome to others as we gather for worship.”
This term we hope to run Fellowship Groups on the 1st + 3rd Wednesday (Killaney Hall) and Thursday (Trish + Colin Foreman’s home) in the month as well as the YF Fellowship Group on alternate Sundays, from 7:30 – 9:00pm from February to June. Keep an eye on the page for updates https://trinityboardmills.org/fellowshipgroups/
If these dates don’t work or you want to get involved individually or use it to study with a couple of friends then let us know and we can find a way for as many as possible to join together in different ways as we seek to learn from Gods word together and seek His will for the days ahead.
From more details contact us colin@trinityboardmills.org if you would like to join a group or if you would like more information.
Sign-up sheets and the books will be available on Sunday at church
