Trinity Tots.
Started some years ago during a mission outreach, it soon became apparent that offering a safe, happy place for mums/dads/grandparents or carers to come along with their babies and pre- schoolers was going to be welcomed by the community around us.
Offering a time for play and interaction for the children, our Monday morning session also gives the adults time to chat, share with others at the same stage of parenting and make friends.
The children can enjoy some playtime with a very extensive and varied “library” of toys to engage them and there are also craft activities for them to join in with.
Each week we spend a little time with a Bible story and some singing, which the children enthusiastically engage with.
After all that hard work of playing and socializing there are snacks provided – tea/coffee for the adults and toast and biscuits for the children.
There is a committed and welcoming team of volunteers from Trinity Boardmills who make all this happen, and to whom we are very grateful. If you have children in this age group, and are looking for a fun thing to start off the week, you would be made most welcome.
Generally running during term times, Trinity Tots is held on a Monday morning from 10am – 11.15am in Killaney Hall ( the old church building opposite the football pitch on Church Road) we are open to anyone in our community, no other connection to the Church is necessary – although you would always be made very welcome there too!
If you would like any further details please email [email protected] or pop in on a Monday and speak to the volunteers there.
