Fellowship Groups
COME JOIN US
The vision for fellowship groups in our Church family is to build upon the primary purpose of glorifying God and as a Church family growing and strengthening each other through Bible study and fellowship.
“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” Acts 2:42
“And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they did not cease teaching and preaching that the Christ is Jesus.” Acts 5:42
Therefore, the Bible gives us a vision of pursuit of righteousness, faith, love and peace with our fellow Christians. The function of fellowship groups is to provide a forum to allow our Church family to undertake this pursuit together.
So, are fellowship groups about fellowship, Bible study or evangelism? A simple answer is, yes all three! However, the focus can vary during each session and from session to session.
Fellowship groups are an opportunity for mixed small groups of the congregations to come together and study a programme of instruction, usually led by an elder. Some families kindly open their homes for these meetings, or online options are made available too if required.
Normally they run two evenings in a month for 6 or 8 weeks depending on the resource being followed.
A great opportunity to learn and help other’s understanding in a warm and safe environment, and also make friends and strengthen relationships.
